This hands-on Floral Design Workshop is meant to help new growers and less experienced designers put the design basics they learn in the conference sessions to use. Participants will learn to design wrapped market bouquets and small vase/Mason Jar style arrangements using their own flowers.
Each participant must bring a bucket or two of their own flowers to use. The goal of this workshop is to teach you how to better use the flowers you grow so you can easily implement what you learn at your next market! Limited to 30 participants so register ASAP!!
This ticket grants you admission to all the amazing conference sessions from 10:00am to 3:45pm. Please register separately for the Post-Conference Floral Design Workshop.
This hands-on workshop for less experienced designers will be held after the general sessions of the conference end at 3:45pm. Space is limited to 30 participants. Please only register if you plan to attend.Participants must bring their own flowers to use. Buckets of flowers will be collected at registration and stored in the workshop classroom. Please don't bring anything that won't do well outside of a cooler.
You'll have the option of leaving the Extension office for lunch if you choose to, but we wanted to provide an onsite lunch for those who wish to stay to visit and network with other flower growers during lunch. The value of the meal will be over $10, and with the gas you'll save, this is a deal! But feel free to leave or bring your own lunch if you'd prefer!
