The premier educational program for produce and cut flower growers in Kentucky.
This two-day meeting is devoted to fruit, vegetable and cut flower production, handling, harvesting, marketing, storage and related topics. Over 500 growers, researchers, and technical service providers attend the Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference each year.
Conference Details - The 2027 Kentucky Fruit & Vegetable Conference will be held January 11-12, 2027 at the Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green, KY with 4 pre-conference sessions on Sunday, January 10. These Pre-Conference Sessions are free, but space is limited.
The program will be available later in this fall. Check back later for more details.
Like last year, lunch will not be served at the conference. We will provide ample time for attendees to leave the conference center for lunch and return for afternoon sessions. We will also provide a list of nearby restaurants for your convience on the conference webpage.
Conference Registration - Registration allows entrance to all conference sessions. Pre-conference sessions are free but must be registered for separately. Students get free registation! Register online by Friday, January 8, 2027 to take advantage of the discounted price of $80. After that, on-site registration is $100. You may also pay by check by mailing your registration and check to Kentucky Horticulture Council, PO Box 21736, Lexington, KY 40522-1736. Find the printable mail-in registration at this link.
Refund Policy - Due to hotel policies and of the scale of this conference, registration fees are non-refundable. In the case of cancellation or delay, we will do our best to provide online and in-person learning opportunities for those who registered. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support in making this conference a success.
Grower Group Membership - Each conference ticket also includes complimentary annual membership in the grower group that best describes your interests: Kentucky Fruit Growers - the Kentucky State Horticultural Society (KSHS), the Kentucky Vegetable Growers Association (KVGA), or the Organic Association of Kentucky (OAK). Membership in one of the grower groups is not required for attendance to the conference, you may select "None". Conversely, attendance at the conference is not required for membership. You can join more than one member organization for an additional membership due fee.
